Peter Kurth is an American author and journalist. He was born in 1954 in Connecticut and studied at Wesleyan University. He has written several books, including books on cultural history, true crime, and biography, and has contributed to many publications such as Vanity Fair, The New York Times Magazine, and Esquire. Some of his notable books include "Isadora: A Sensational Life" (2001), "Anastasia: The Riddle of Anna Anderson" (1983), and "American Cassandra: The Life of Dorothy Thompson" (1990). Kurth's writing style is known for its attention to historical detail and its ability to vividly bring characters to life.
